You are invited to participate in the Meal Packs for 9/11 Day

In observance of the federally-designated September 11th National Day of Service and Remembrance, our organization, 9/11 Day, is collaborating with local partners to create signature meal packs in 11 cities across the country.
To help combat hunger in America, more than 8,000 volunteers from around the country will help pack as many as 2.5 million healthy, non-perishable meals. All meals will be donated to and distributed by local Feeding America affiliated food banks to individuals and families who are food insecure.
Volunteers will participate in a 2-hour shift. This project is family friendly – we just recommend that kids are old enough (12+) to help pack meals.

Click on REGISTER NOW to choose from available volunteer shifts in your city. We’ll then send you an online ticket through email. Please remember to bring your ticket with you to the event, and arrive at least 30 minutes prior to the start of your shift for security check-in. This event is free, however, space is very limited so please register immediately. If you have questions, please contact MealPackRegistration@911Day.org

About 9/11 Day
9/11 Day is the nonprofit that founded and annually organizes the federally-recognized September 11 National Day of Service and Remembrance (“9/11 Day”). Our mission is to inspire Americans and others to rekindle the remarkable spirit of unity and compassion that arose in the immediate aftermath of the 9/11 attacks, and to perform good deeds and other acts of service in tribute to those killed and injured, rescue and recovery personnel, and those who bravely rose in service in response to the attacks.
It’s our way of keeping the promise to “Never Forget.”
